Marketing needs a pilot and a plumber. I'm both.
From above I see the whole business: offer, price, funnel, team. Under the floor I connect the parts so everything flows to revenue. Strategy without the plumbing stalls. Plumbing without a course leaks money. You get both in one operator.
Matan Levanon. 15 years fixing growth for B2B, SaaS, and B2C.
Does this sound familiar?
- Your ad costs climb every quarter while returns shrink.
- Leads come in, then stall and never close.
- Growth has flattened and no one knows why.
- You are spending more to stand still.
These are symptoms, not the problem. The cause sits in one weak part of the business, or in a loose connection between two of them. I find it.
Two jobs. One operator.
Most consultants pick one altitude. The strategist stays in the clouds. The specialist stays in one pipe. Growth demands both.
The pilot: the view from above
I read the whole business before I touch a campaign. Where demand comes from, where money leaks, which part blocks growth. The plan starts from the full map, not from the loudest channel.
The plumber: the work under the floor
Growth dies in the connections. The ad and the landing page. The lead and the follow-up. The data and the decision. I get in, connect the pipes, and make sure every drop reaches revenue.
One question decides the path: is your growth system working?
You have a system running
I take it apart, cog by cog. Every channel, every handoff, every dollar of spend earns its place or gets fixed.
- Inspect every part against its job
- Test each connection for leaks
- Fix or cut what fails the test
- Report the gains to revenue
Starts with a Machine Check.
You don't have one yet
We build the system together. Positioning, offer, channels, measurement, team. Designed around your goal and built for maximum growth.
- Set the destination and the number
- Design the system around the goal
- Build, launch, and measure
- Hand it to your team or keep me leading
Starts with a Strategy & Go-to-Market Build.
The map I fly by. Growth breaks at the weakest part.
Every business runs on a machine with seven parts. From above I run yours through all seven, find the part holding you back, then go down and fix the problem where it lives.
Marketing
Demand, positioning, message, and brand. My core.
Sales & Customer Relationships
Follow-up, conversion, retention, and CRM.
Operations
Whether the business delivers what marketing promises.
Employees & Freelancers
The team and partners who execute the work.
Finance
Unit economics, pricing, margins, CAC and LTV.
Management & Leadership
Priorities, decisions, accountability, alignment.
Development & Innovation
Product, offer, new lines, and what comes next.
The result
One owner, the real constraint named, and a plan to fix it.
Marketing is my core. The other six tell me whether marketing is even your real problem.
Marketing leadership, not a channel menu.
I own the strategy and the number, then get my hands on the work itself. I lead deepest on marketing and the parts next to it. I diagnose the rest and tell you the truth.
Strategy & Offer
Set the direction, sharpen the positioning, and fix the offer and pricing when the pain lives there.
Demand & Paid Growth
Google, LinkedIn, and Facebook across the full funnel. Data-driven and accountable to revenue.
Conversion & Funnel
Most of the money is lost after the click. I optimize landing pages and funnels so traffic converts.
Team & Tracking
Build a high-performing team, manage agencies, and set up clean attribution and ad-tech.
I will not sell you marketing you do not need.
A senior operator, not an account manager. I diagnose the whole business first, then tell you the truth, even when the answer is you do not have a marketing problem.
You work with the operator
At an agency, the senior person wins the pitch and a junior runs your account. With me, the senior operator owns your account every week.
I fix the broken part, not the easy one
I diagnose the whole business before I spend a dollar. If the constraint is your price or your sales follow-up, I name it.
Strategy and execution in one
Consultants advise and leave. Agencies execute without owning the plan. I own both, and I report to revenue.
I also turn down work. I will not market what preys on people. Selectivity keeps the work honest and keeps me focused on a few clients at a time.
From a second opinion to your whole marketing function.
One scale, five rungs. A working system starts at rung 1 with a Machine Check. Building from zero starts at rung 3 with a full build. The work earns each next step. Click any rung for the full picture.

15 years building the whole machine.
I'm Matan Levanon, founder of MTN. Over 15 years I have built demand across B2B, SaaS, and B2C, from venture-backed startups to enterprise. I have led performance teams of up to ten people, managed a $60M annual portfolio and $5M monthly budgets, and grew the US business 10x in a year at Humanz.
I have led growth and paid media at Humanz, Media Brainers, Crazy Labs, and Ladbrokes Coral, running international campaigns across Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, display, social, and affiliate channels.
What ties it together: I fix the problem where it lives. Many marketers stop at the message. I start with the whole business and own the outcome to revenue.
I keep a narrative steady when the ground shifts by the hour. Alongside business, I hold a senior leadership role in a high-stakes, security-sensitive field, where I lead narrative across sensitive audiences, coordinate with national-level partners, and manage crises as they unfold. The discipline of owning a story through changing realities is what I bring to the companies I work with.

Common questions.
What does pilot and plumber mean?
Two jobs in one operator. The pilot reads the whole business from above and sets the course. The plumber connects the parts so leads, data, and money flow without leaks. Growth needs both.
What is the Growth Machine?
My whole-business diagnostic across seven parts: marketing, sales, operations, people, finance, leadership, and development. Growth breaks at the weakest part. I find it and fix it.
What is CMO-as-a-Service?
Senior marketing leadership without a full-time hire. I own the strategy and the number, lead the execution, and report to revenue, part-time, for B2B, SaaS, and B2C companies.
How do we start?
Working system? A Machine Check: a fixed-fee inspection of all seven parts and a prioritized 90-day plan. No system yet? A Strategy & Go-to-Market Build, designed together and built to run.
Who do you work with?
B2B, SaaS, and B2C companies, from venture-backed startups to enterprise. Based in Tel Aviv, working with clients internationally.
What will you not do?
I will not market what preys on people. Regulated, safeguarded work is fair game. Predatory operations are not.
